Spuria irises
grow about 2 to 5 feet in height and bloom
around the same time as the tall bearded
iris. Colors range from white to deep blue,
yellow and cream. In form, they are similar
to the bulb type
Dutch
iris. They are often used for floral
arrangements. This iris is hardy for
temperate zones but in colder areas they may
only produce foliage and no flowers.
