Registered by
Mark Zilis of Illinois in 2009, this cultivar is a sport of a hybrid plant
from H. 'Blue Dimples' × H. 'Shining Tot'. It forms a semi-upright,
small size mound which
grows to about 10 inches in height with a spread of 22 inches. The leaves are
slightly rippled, slightly wavy and ovate with a rounded base. They have red
dotted petioles and are slightly glaucous on the top and moderately glaucous on
the bottom. Its tubular flowers bloom from mid-August into October. From the
Field Guide to Hostas by Mark Zilis (2014), "Other cultivars introduced from the same cross include 'Appletini', 'Azuretini' (blue), 'Bluetini' (blue), 'Bubbatini' (blue), 'Limetini' (gold in spring, then green), 'Martini' (medium green) and 'Saketini' (oddly colored leaves and closed flowers)."
