This is a hybrid of a
gold colored sport of H. 'Blue Dimples' × H. 'Shining Tot' which was registered by
Mark Zilis of Illinois in 2009. It is a
small size hosta about 9 inches high by 20 inches wide
with pale yellow green foliage. The leaves are lightly
wavy, ovate and slightly shiny on top. Pale purple,
tubular flowers which do not open and are produced from
August into September. It does not set
seeds.

Field Guide to Hostas by Mark Zilis (2014), "Other cultivars introduced from the same cross include 'Appletini', 'Azuretini' (blue), 'Bluetini' (blue), 'Bubbatini' (blue), 'Limetini' (gold in spring, then green), 'Martini' (medium green) and 'Saketini' (oddly colored leaves and closed flowers)."
The
name refers to a drink made from the Japanese alcoholic
beverage, sake, mixed with with gin and vermouth.
