Related to Hostas - Hosta Tiara Group from The Hosta Helper

Starting with Robert Savory's introduction of H. 'Golden Tiara' in the 1970's, this beautiful small to medium size edger plant has spawned a large group of similar types of hostas. The plant was not only an outstanding landscape hosta but it showed a great tendency to produce sports of quality. The following chart shows the direct sports of 'Golden Tiara' followed by the sports of each successive generation. Cultivars followed by an (H) are related hybrids that involved 'Golden Tiara' as one of the parents.
