Hosta 'Heavenly Tiara'

Registered by Walters Gardens, Inc. of Michigan in 1998 as a tissue culture sport of H. 'Grand Tiara', this plant forms a medium size (14 inches high by 36 inches wide) mound of foliage. The leaves have a margin that changes from yellow to creamy white as the season progresses. They are folded to cupped, oval and have narrow petioles. It has medium purple flowers from mid-July into August.

The New Encyclopedia of Hostas by Diana Grenfell (2009) states: "Much tougher than its delicate coloring suggests...Leaf brightens by early summer and the margin turns ivory. Has reverse variegation of H. 'Crystal Tiara'.
