wide) introduction by
Randy
Goodwin of Indiana is of unidentified parentage and was registered in 2000. The
narrowly ovate to ovate leaves have smooth texture and are wavy
with thick substance. Pale lavender flowers bloom in July
followed by viable seeds.

'War Party' ranks with the best."
The New Encyclopedia of Hostas by

Grenfell (2009) states: "Holds its blue leaf color well...The intensely
rippled leaves on a large blue-green hosta."
