Hosta 'Déjà Blu'

This sport of H. 'Blue Boy' was registered by Walters Gardens, Inc. of Michigan in 2005. It forms a medium size (15 inches high by 45 inches wide) mound with leaves that are smooth, slightly rippled, broadly ovate and have attractive veins. Pale lavender flowers bloom in July.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "One interesting feature of 'Déjà Blu' is the light yellow area that outlines the green leaf center."

The New Encyclopedia of Hostas by Diana Grenfell (2009) states: "The outstandingly unusual and attractive leaf variegation takes several seasons to become fully apparent."
