This is one of those cases where there are two hostas with the same name. One is registered and, therefore, the "official" version of H. 'Beautiful Dreamer' while the other is a non-registered plant and needs to be renamed to avoid further confusion.

An article by Warren I. Pollock in The Hosta Journal (2015 Vol. 46 No.1) states that, "In 2010, Dick and Jane Ward. ..registered 'Beautiful Dreamer'. It's a seedling from 'Zany Janie'...with medium green leaves having a pure white margin...mound height about 13 inches and width about 20 inches...Stuart Asch...has a hosta he named 'Beautiful Dreamer' (NR). It's a seedling from 'William Lachman'...Asch's description: "This small beauty has outstanding color and variegation. The leaves have great substance and are nicely corrugated. A wide deep-green edge with a golden cream center is a wonderful contrast."

Registered by Dr. Dick and Jane Ward of Ohio in 2010, this medium size (13 inches high by 30 inches wide) cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Zany Janie'. Its foliage is medium green with a pure white marginal variegation. The leaves are broadly ovate, flat and dull on top. Tubular shape flowers bloom from June into July.

According to the registration materials: "...striking white margin..."

Originated by Stuart Asch of Michigan, this non-registered cultivar is of unidentified parentage. It is a medium size hosta with green leaves that have a wide creamy white medial (center) variegation. It has light violet to white flowers.
