									Australia and New Zealand were first visited

									plant explorers started sending plants 
									back to their home countries for 
									introduction into the nursery trade.
									 
									
									
									
									Daniel Solander was with Captain Cook on 
									one of the first visits. People such as
									
									James Drummond and
									
									Allan Cunningham were also significant 
									plant explorers.
