Hosta 'Sherborne Songbird'

A second generation Tardiana-type seedling was registered in 1988 by the British Hosta and Hemerocallis Society (BHHS) on behalf of the originator, Eric Smith. It grows into a large size hosta about 20 inches in height with a spread of 38 inches with moderately corrugated foliage with thick substance. In late summer, the foliage changes from blue-green to dark green. The pale lavender flowers bloom mid-July into August.

For some reason, this hosta was re-registered in 2010.

According to a Google search, Sherborne is a market town in northwest Dorset, in Southwest England.
