A
self-pollinated seedling of H. 'Dorothy Benedict', this cultivar was registered by
Stuart Asch of Michigan in 2004 and granted a U.S. patent in
2011. It forms a medium to large size mound of wavy, ovate foliage
with good substance. The near white flowers bloom in late
summer.
The originator made the following comment on the
Fraternal Order
of Seedy Fellows website: "Certainly up there as one of my favorites. Has already given me
several wonderful sports. A golden wavy edge on a dark green leaf. Has been
reproduced by Walter's
Garden and has recently entered the market. A stand out in any garden."
This plant is part of the SHADOWLAND group of
hostas from Walters Gardens, Inc.
