This
tissue culture sport of H. 'Paul's
Glory' was registered by
Bob Solberg of Green Hill Farm in North Carolina in 2002 and was also granted U.S. Plant Patent 16742. It is a large size (20 inches high
by 45 inches wide) mound of slightly corrugated foliage that has pale lavender
flowers from mid-July into August. According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), this cultivar "...is quickly becoming one of the
most widely grown hosta cultivars. It offers a much brighter
mound of foliage over the whole growing season than its mother
plant, 'Paul's Glory'."
An article in
The
Hosta Journal (2016 Vol. 47 No. 2) states that this also
sold under the Tradename
or Trademark of H. CITRINE
SUPREME.
