Hosta 'Northwest Textures'

This H. 'Tokudama' type plant is a non-registered cultivar by Glen Draper of Utah. It grows about 16 inches tall and spreads 47 inches. The foliage is very heavily corrugated, broadly ovate, unruly and has thick substance. There is a moderate bloom on the underside of the leaves. Its near white flowers bloom from late June into July.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...given to all attendees of the 2002 National Convention of The American Hosta Society in Spokane, Washington...a good, slug-resistant cultivar..."
