Hosta 'Millennium'

A slow growing hybrid of H. 'Herb Benedict' × H. 'Sagae', this cultivar was registered by Dr. Jim and Jill Wilkins of Michigan in 1995. The giant size (36 inches high by 54 inches wide) plant grows to  with deeply lobed, unruly, cupped foliage with thick substance. It bears pale lavender flowers on 4 foot tall scapes from late June into July followed by viable seeds.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), this cultivar "...reminds me of 'Blue Umbrellas', but with a better blue color in spring."

The New Encyclopedia of Hostas by Diana Grenfell (2009) states: "Slow to increase."
