A slow growing hybrid of H. 'Herb Benedict' × H. 'Sagae', this cultivar was registered by
Dr. Jim
and Jill Wilkins of Michigan in 1995. The giant size (36 inches high by 54
inches wide) plant grows to with deeply lobed, unruly, cupped foliage with thick
substance. It bears pale lavender flowers on 4 foot tall scapes from late June into July
followed by viable seeds.

'Blue Umbrellas', but with a better blue color in spring."
