Paul Aden of New York registered this cultivar in 1979 as a hybrid of H. 'Yellow Splash' × H. 'Neat Splash'.
It has medium size (16 inches high) mound with a low growing habit
that is often used as a ground cover
hosta. Bright purple flowers are borne from late July into mid-August.
According to
The Hostapedia by
Mark Zilis (2009) this cultivar "...reached its peak of popularity
during the 1980s...These days few nurseries offer it for sale
and most collectors do not bother growing it."
