Hosta 'Blueberry Tart'

Bob Solberg of Green Hill Farm in North Carolina crossed H. 'Blue Cadet' × H. 'Fall Bouquet' to produce this cultivar which was registered in 2005. It is a small size plant with a height around 8 inches. The leaves are "boat" shaped and the pale lavender flowers bloom in July followed by viable seeds.

The New Encyclopedia of Hostas by Diana Grenfell (2009) states: "Increase rapidly...It has very long petioles for the small size of the leaf."

The Book of Little Hostas by Kathy and Michael Shadrack (2010) says: "Good for the raised bed and woodland garden."
