						  A cross between H. 'Mira' ×
						H. 'Sieboldiana',
				this cultivar was registered by
							Clarence
Owens of Michigan in 1990. It produces a giant size (29 inches high) mound of heavily
corrugated foliage with thick substance. White flowers appear in
				July. According to

The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "At the 1999

							National Convention of

The American Hosta Society in Michigan,
Clarence Owens' specimen of 'Blackjack' was a true standout. The
large size mound of unruly, bluish green foliage was absolutely
sensational on that late June day."
