Hosta
'Apple Green'

A open-pollinated seedling of H. nakaiana, this plant was registered by Ken Anderson of Minnesota in 1982. It forms a very dense, medium size (13 inches high) mound of light green foliage and has many light purple, bell shape flowers in July followed by seed set. The flowers are spaced widely down the scape and extend almost down to the foliage top. It is a rapid growing plant and is good for edging of beds and borders.
