of Ohio in 2016, this upright, medium size (13 inches
high by 20 inches wide) cultivar is a seedling of (H.
'Arctic Blast' x (H. 'King Tut' x H. 'Sun
Power')) × H. 'Queen of the Seas'. It has yellow
foliage which is moderately twisted, wavy and
corrugated. Near white flowers with very light purple
stripes bloom from mid-June into July on scapes up to 21
inches tall. The
registration materials state: "Vase shaped yellow with
strong leather-like substance. Corrugated, wavy,
serrated leaves with a flipped tip. Won the Grand Prize
for uniqueness at an
Ed Elslager Seedling contest...begins golden yellow and moves
toward creamy yellow throughout the season..."
