then introduced to the rest of the world.
Canada,
of course, is noted for at least two broad
categories of plants.
One would be those
that are very cold hardy in order to survive
the cold
temperate climate of the middle and
northern parts of the country. The other
group are those plants from the moderate
climate of the British Columbia area which
boasts some almost
subtropical
environments especially along the coast.
