Every landscape plant (seed producers anyway) has a time during the
growing season when it develops flower buds and blooms. The list below
reflects blooming dates for common landscape plants in
USDA Hardiness Zone 5.
Of course, in different zones, the actual dates of blooming may differ
i.e. earlier in the South and later in the North. However, the relative
time of bloom for various species will be the same. That is, crocus will
bloom before candytuft which will bloom before coneflowers. |
