White flowers on
7-rayed cymes that are 3 to 4.5 inches in
diameter. Fragrant.
Opposite, simple,
evergreen, leathery, ovate to roundish, 3 to 6”
long, half to as wide. Leaves are dark, glossy
green on top but paler on the bottom with small,
black dots. Evergreen in warm zones.
Red drupe.
