Hybrids between C. bignonioides and C. ovata
 
The white flowers are smaller than C. bignonioides but more numerous and stained with yellow and minutely spotted with purple.
 
The unfolding leaves are purplish, broad-ovate or slightly 3-lobed, cordate, up to 10 to 12” long, and pubescent beneath.
 
 
 
 

 

 

  • 'Purpurea' - Emerging shoots are black-purple and the petioles are purple colored.
