Roy
Klehm of Illinois
and
Paul Aden of New York registered this variegated sport of
Hosta
gracillima in
1990. It forms a medium size (14 inches high by 30 inches wide), dense mound
of dark green foliage
with a thin, creamy white marginal variegation. Lavender,
funnel-shaped flowers bloom from July into August on scapes up to 28 inches
tall.
The New Encyclopedia of Hostas by
Diana
Grenfell (2009) states: "Vigorous. Covers a large area quickly...Leaves
flatten at the edge and widen as the plant matures."
