This non-registered cultivar is a sport of H.
'Masquerade'. The plant grows to a small size about 6
inches in height with a spread of 18 inches. Its leaves

moderately twisted, elliptic, slightly rippled with thin
substance. Purple flowers bloom from late June into
July.
An article by Warren I. Pollock in
The
Hosta Journal (2009 Vol. 40 No. 1) states that, "It
turns out the green sport of 'Masquerade' was registered twice and with two
different names. In 1999
Van Wade...registered this sport as 'Vanessa'...Mark Zilis...informed me that he registered it as 'Munchkin' in 2003."
