Hosta 'Tyler's Treasure'

Charles Isaacs of Moongate Farm in North Carolina registered this sport of H. 'Piedmont Gold' in 1999. It grows to 18 inches tall with a spread of 49 inches. The leaves are broadly oblong to ovate in shape, slightly rippled and have thick substance. It bears near white flowers in late June.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...serve as superior substitutes for 'Frances Williams' in the landscape since they offer similar, large size mounds of foliage without spring desiccation burn in the gold margin."
