A sport of H. 'Second Wind',
this cultivar was registered by
John Kulpa of Michigan in 1994. It has dark green leaves that are streaked
with white specks. The medium to large size mound bears lavender
flowers from late July into August. According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...vary from garden to garden. Some are nicely streaked,
while others have reverted back to 'Second Wind' or
'Whirlwind'."
