This seedling selection
of H. 'Tenryu' is a
non-registered hosta from
Ron Livingston of Michigan. It
is a large size plant about 27 inches high with a spread
of around 58 inches that forms a semi-upright mound. The
leaves are blue-green and change to dark green by the
end of the summer. They are slightly corrugated, deeply
cupped and have good substance. Near white flowers bloom
in August.
According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "This is almost a dead-ringer for 'Tenryu', except for
its white flowers."
