Hosta 'Sweet Bo Peep'

A self-pollinated seedling of H. 'Invincible', this cultivar was originated by Dr. Ralph (Herb) Benedict of Michigan before 1991 and registered on his behalf by Kevin Walek (Hosta Registrar) in 2009. It forms a medium size (16 inches high by 40 inches wide) mound of shiny, dark green foliage that is heavily corrugated, slightly rippled and shiny on top. Pale lavender, fragrant flowers bloom in August.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), this cultivar "...differs from 'Invincible' by its heart-shaped leaf blade and less rippled margin."

In an article in The Hosta Journal (2016 Vol. 47 No 2), the author described this plant's flowers as having a "Weak" fragrance compared to other hostas.
