This medium size (13 inches tall by 36 inches wide) plant is an
open-pollinated seedling of
(a hybrid of
H. 'Sieboldiana' x H. 'One Man's
Treasure'). It was registered by
Bob Solberg of Green Hill Farm in North Carolina in 2007.
The deep blue-green foliage is wavy, slightly cupped and has good substance.
It has reddish dotted petioles and bears pale lavender flowers
from mid-July into August.
According to the Land of Giants Hosta Farm website, "This “Longiana”
may be the best and bluest of the lot making a statement in the garden. It has
sturdy leaves and good substance."
