This slow growing sport of H. 'Little Aurora' was registered by Dr. Alan Tower of Washington in 2003. Its leaves are chartreuse in the center with a gold marginal variegation. The plant forms a small size (10 inches high by 20 inches wide) mound and bears very pale lavender flowers from late June into July.

The Book of Little Hostas by Kathy and Michael Shadrack (2010) says: "A beautiful hosta that needs just the right amount of light to bring out the subtle variegation. Ideal for a small container that can be moved around until the right spot is found."

The New Encyclopedia of Hostas by Diana Grenfell (2009) states: "Slow to increase and takes time to establish...The narrow central marking distinguishes this sport of H. 'Little Aurora' from all others and is quite unique."
