A hybrid of H. 'Yellow Splash' × H. 'Neat Splash', this cultivar was registered by
Paul Aden of New York in
1978. It is a small size plant with green foliage that has a
white medial (center) variegation. The leaves are narrowly
elliptic, wavy and have thin substance. Lavender flowers bloom
from mid-July into August.
According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...registered this plant as forming a mound of foliage 12"
high...but I've never seen one even half that size...grows very
slowly and needs special care to survive."
