Hosta 'Sir Augie W'

Registered by Charles Kwick of Wisconsin in 2018, this large size (20 inches high by 55 inches wide) cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Sagae' × H. 'Sea Gulf Stream'. It is an upright growing hosta with medium green colored leaves that are nearly round, slightly cupped, slightly corrugated and slightly shiny on top. Pale lavender flowers with white stripes bloom from mid-June into July on scapes 30 to 42 inches tall. It sets seed but their viability was not known at the time of registration.

The registration materials state: "...Upright clump of large, almost round, shiny leaves...darkens slightly during the season."
