Hosta 'Satin Beauty'

This is an introduction of Eunice V. Fisher of Wisconsin that was registered on her behalf by The American Hosta Society in 1986. It forms a large size (23 inches high) mound of broadly ovate, shiny green foliage. The leaves are slightly cupped, heart shaped at the base and moderately corrugated. Pale lavender flowers on extremely tall flower scapes bloom from late June into July. The parentage is unknown.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), this cultivar is "...closely related to H. montana in foliage and flower."
