Hosta 'Ruffles'

This cultivar of unidentified parentage was registered by The American Hosta Society on behalf of the originator, Dick Lehman in 1986. It grows about 28 inches in height with a spread of 58 inches. The medium green colored foliage is neatly rippled with a twisted tip. It bears very pale lavender flowers.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...can be easily identified without a label. The long, green foliage bears evenly spaced marginal ripples that are noticeable from a distance. (Contrast this to 'Birchwood Ruffled Queen' and others with "irregular" ripples.)"
