Hosta 'Pilgrim'

A hybrid of H. 'Flamboyant', this cultivar was registered by George Rasmussen and Alex Malloy of New York in 1997. The wide margins changes from yellow to creamy white as the season progresses. This medium size (12 inches high) plant has ovate shaped, slightly wavy foliage of average substance. It bears pale purple flowers in July followed by viable seeds.

The New Encyclopedia of Hostas by Diana Grenfell (2009) states: "Vigorous, a rapid increaser. An excellent front of the border specimen and good in containers."
