Pauline Banyai of Michigan registered this cultivar in 1989 as having unidentified parentage . It is a
medium size (18 inches high) plant with narrowly ovate, wavy, green foliage and pale lavender
flowers from mid-July into August. According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), this is "...the quintessential wavy-leaved hosta.
The large waves (not small ripples as in a piecrust hosta)
dominate the relatively narrow leaf and are noticeable from a
good distance."
