This hybrid of H. 'Yellow Splash' × H. hypoleuca was registered by Jim Dishon of Michigan in 1996. It forms a medium size plant with bright gold foliage. The leaves are slightly rippled, slightly corrugated and have thin tips.

Although this is labled 'Olive Oyl' (Popeye's girlfreind), it seems to fit the description of 'Olive Oil'. The cultivar 'Olive Oyl' is a much larger plant with pointed, foliage that has a yellow marginal variegation.
