H. montana
'Mountain Snow'

Registered in 1988 as a large size tissue culture sport of H. montana 'Aureomarginata'. This plant from Mark Zilis of Illinois grows into a large size hosta about 27 inches in height and a spread of 5 feet with slightly wavy, smooth textured foliage. Very pale lavender flowers bloom in July.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "Like other Mt. Fugi types of H. montana, 'Mountain Snow' emerges late in the spring, often 2-3 weeks after most other hostas."
