This is a hybrid of a seedling of H. 'Beatrice' × H. 'Blue Moon' which was registered by Wm and Eleanor Lachman of Massachusetts in 1991. It is a medium size (16 inches high by 21 inches wide) hosta with light blue-green foliage that is slightly wavy and turns dark green by July. Medium lavender flowers bloom in August.

The New Encyclopedia of Hostas by Diana Grenfell (2009) states: "Easily exceeds its registered dimensions."
