This tissue culture sport of H. 'Rosedale Daisy Mae' was originated by Jerry Hadrava of Iowa and registered by Mark Zilis of Illinois in 2003. It forms a medium size hosta about 18 inches tall that spreads to about 40 inches in width. It bears very pale lavender flowers in July.

The New Encyclopedia of Hostas by Diana Grenfell (2009) states: "Requires hot summers to assume the subtle changes in variegation of which it is capable. Increases rapidly."
