This plant is a hybrid of two unnamed seedlings
that was registered in 1997 by
Mary Chastain of
Lakeside Acres Nursery in Tennessee.
The miniature size hosta grows about 7 inches tall and spreads about 20 inches wide with elliptic
shaped foliage. It bears pale purple flowers in July.
The Book of Little Hostas by Kathy and Michael Shadrack
(2010) says: "...slow to moderate growth rate...A growing habit
very close to the ground means that a good mulch or gravel base may be necessary
to prevent splashback."
