Hosta 'Lake Hitchcock'

An open-pollinated seedling of H. 'Mount Tom', this cultivar was originated by Wm and Eleanor Lachman of Massachusetts and registered on their behalf by Kevin Walek (Hosta Registrar) in 2009. It is a medium size plant about 17 inches high with a spread of around 47 inches.

The foliage is blue-green with a wide marginal variegation which changes from gold to creamy yellow (lutescent) as the season progresses. Its leaves are somewhat unruly, moderately corrugated and have thick substance. Pale lavender flowers bloom in clusters in July.
