Hosta 'Green Angel'

A tissue culture sport of H. 'Blue Angel', this cultivar was registered by Klehm Nursery of Illinois in 1990.   It forms a giant size mound 31 inches high and about 7 feet wide with slightly wavy, smooth textured leaves. The near white flowers bloom in dense clusters in late June.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...represents a first among hostas, being the first green-leaved sport out of a blue-leaved hosta. It is identical to 'Blue Angel' in almost every other way, making an impressive, wide-spreading mound of foliage with an outstanding flower performance."
