This sport of H. 'Valentine Lace' forms a large size (20 inches high by 42 inches wide) mound of misted, green and white centered leaves. It changes from blue-green to green by mid summer in most cases. Pale lavender flowers are borne from late June into July.

Charles Isaacs of Moongate Farm in North Carolina, registered the cultivar in 1999.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), this cultivar "...can only be considered a tremendous cultivar, due to its beautiful, misted foliage. It does have a tendency to sport white-centered, green edged leaves."

The New Encyclopedia of Hostas by Diana Grenfell (2009) states: "The unusual color holds best in shade, but the young leaves have the strongest variegation. Moderate growth rate...unusual and worthwhile enough to give it the best care and attention...Variegation fades during the summer into a faint misting. An unusual, near black scape."
