Hosta 'Frozen Margarita'

Bob Solberg of Green Hill Farm in North Carolina registered this sport of H. 'Fried Bananas' in 2003. A large size plant, it grows to 28 inches tall and over 48  inches wide with wavy, slightly corrugated foliage. Its flowers are fragrant, lavender colored and bloom in August.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...differs from 'Fragrant Bouquet' by its narrower margin and the lack of a glaucous bloom on the top and underside surfaces in spring."

The New Encyclopedia of Hostas by Diana Grenfell (2009) states: "Ideal in containers in cooler gardens sited to appreciate the fragrance of the superb flowers. Increases rapidly."
