Hosta 'Don Quixote'

Registered in 2004 by Mildred Seaver of Massachusetts, this cultivar is a streaked sport of H. 'Don Stevens'. The foliage is slightly rippled, ovate in shape and has petioles with red dots. It forms a medium size (15 inches high by 40 inches wide) clump and bears pale purple flowers in August.

The New Encyclopedia of Hostas by Diana Grenfell (2009) states: "Moderate growth rate. A good breeding plant...The streaking is usually in the center of the green-margined leaf."
