This cultivar was registered by
Wm and Eleanor Lachman of Massachusetts in 1989 as a hybrid of an H. 'Resonance'
seedling ×
H. 'Halcyon'. This
plant forms a medium size (18 inches high) mound of green centered foliage
whose margin changes from creamy yellow to white as the season
progresses. It bears medium lavender flowers in August. According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...may be the most popular of all introductions by
the Lachmans. The rounded blade shape and distinct variegation
plus good flower performance make this a premium cultivar."
