Hosta 'Blue without You'

A sport of H. 'Striptease', this cultivar was registered by Tim Kordner of Minnesota in 2000. This cultivar forms a large size (20 inches high) mound of slightly wavy, smooth textured, greenish yellow foliage of average substance. It bears pale lavender flowers from mid-July into August.

From The Hosta Journal, (2008 Vol. 35. No. 1), "...is described as having a blue leaf margin...very similar to 'Kiwi Full Monty', except the center appears to be nearly the same color as the margin, with just a hint of underlying yellow. The center may brighten up as the season progresses as it does in 'Kiwi Full Monty'."
