This plant is a seedling selection of H. 'Elp 2' and it is a
non-registered cultivar from
Ron Livingston of Michigan. It grows to
a medium size hosta about
17 inches in height with a spread of 38 inches. The slightly
shiny, medium green foliage is wavy and has smooth texture. It
bears medium purple, fragrant flowers in August on blackish

According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...descends from
H. plantaginea and is notable for its
combination of fragrant, purple flowers and blackish scapes."
